We are close to Calgary, Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise and offer the most exciting whitewater rafting in the Rockies! With more than 20 years of rafting experience on the Kicking Horse River we pride ourselves on safety and excellent customer service. We invite you to come join the adventure and feel the rush of white-water. No experience is required. The Kicking Horse River is divided into 3 10km long sections which offers something for everyone!
 
All our river rafting adventures include wetsuits, booties, and gloves cleaned daily, life jackets and helmets. We also provide wool sweaters and spray jackets to help fend off the cold. All you need to bring is a towel, swim wear for under the wetsuit and a smile! We have a professional photo service offered so you can keep your camera safe and dry!
Staying in Banff or Lake Louise and don't have transportation? Not to worry! We offer a shuttle service from Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise for the Banff Full Day Kicking Horse Rafting Trip. Sit back, relax, and let us whisk you through the majestic rocky mountains where our professional driver will inform you of points of interest along the way. All of our shuttles are new, clean, and well maintained. Shuttle available daily.

Banff Full Day Kicking Horse Rafting Trip - Beginner
This is a great trip for newcomers to the sport. The trip starts at a relaxing scenic pace with opportunities to view various plant and wildlife species. We stop after 10 kms for a mouth watering BBQ lunch riverside. After lunch it's back to the raft for the remaining 10 kms where you will encounter some of best white water the Kicking Horse river has to offer. Transportation from our office in Golden to and from the river is included. We also offer a shuttle service from Banff, Canmore, and Lake Louise for those guests without transportation. Age restriction is 12 yrs and 90lbs.

Banff Double Excitement Kicking Horse Rafting - Intermediate / Advanced
Our Double Excitement rafting tour will have guests rafting down the middle section of the Kicking Horse River where they will encounter some of the best white water on the river. The middle section offers 1km of continuous class 4 white water and lots of class 3 to follow! Then its onto the Lower Canyon which is the most challenging section of river and is suited for the adrenaline seeker. We do not recommend this section for first time rafters. The lower canyon has 2.5 km of continuous class 4 white water. This section also offer beautiful scenic views.

Full Day and Lower Canyon Kicking Horse Rafting - Intermediate / Advanced
This rafting trip offers every section of the Kicking Horse River and is the best trip offered. It combines the full day trip with the exciting Lower Canyon. A mouthwatering BBQ lunch is served riverside with this trip. For those of you who just can't get enough of the water this is the trip for you! Why only do a section of the river when you can raft all three!
