Geocaching involves teams competing in a high-tech treasure hunt. Teams are given GPS units that are pre-programmed with vital coordinates of each target, called caches. Along the way teams will encounter challenges and activities which must be completed by at least one member of the team, in order for the team to continue.
"The real winner in this team-building exercise was camaraderie...is was a way to build a closer working relationship among the participants, and in this it was very successful!"

At the beginning of the event, each member of the team will assume a skill-based role that will aid the team in the successful completion of the event. Participants are encouraged to share the responsibilities and duties equally, including a Team Manager, GPS Coordinator, Navigation Coordinator, Document Coordinator and Cache Coordinator.
Each cache can vary from the simple to the complex. For each challenge, the team must design a plan, execute it, and reach the final goal utilizing their pre-designated skills. With the aid of the hosts, this becomes an amazing opportunity to observe team behavior and to discover what your team needs most to function at the next level. This experiential learning program will also highlight interesting parts surrounding your event location and is a lot of fun!
Teams will be scored on accuracy, creativity and completion of the team challenges. Teams are given up to 12 waypoints, having to only complete a minimum set number. Once all the scores from the Passbook have been calculated, a closing ceremony will be conducted and medals will be awarded.
This event can be staged in numerous locations including urban parks, beaches, hotel grounds and resorts.
